Our SMALLER item standard FREE shipping:
Most smaller items, such as log sets and accessories, are generally shipped by Fed Ex ground delivery service. Delivery to a business or residence within the continental U.S. is FREE on this type of shipment, but some heavier heaters or small grills may incur an additional shipping charge (shown with the item‘s price).
Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, or Mexico is NOT available. |
| |
Our LARGER item standard shipping:
Other larger, fragile, or heavier items, such as gas grills, fireboxes, gas stoves, or gas fireplaces, are generally shipped using our standard motor freight delivery services by carriers like Southeastern, SAIA, R&L, Old Dominion, Fed Ex Freight or Wilson Trucking. These items are shipped per quote to a legitimate commercially-zoned Business address or Residential address. It is very important that you specify to your sales representative at the time of order if your shipment is being delivered to a residence. Residential delivery requires special preparations to ensure your package arrives at the right place and time. If residential delivery IS NOT specified at the time of your order, which leads to shipping complications, you could be charged a $100 minimum fee for delivery rescheduling. |
- Gas Logs Direct usually recommends lift gate service delivery for extremely heavy shipments. The charge for this service is $25.00
Call or e-mail us for details. |

| Limitations and restrictions for our LARGER item standard shipping are: |
Delivery to a standard business address or to the motor freight carrier‘s normal delivery terminal for customer pick-up at the terminal. A business out of the home is considered to be a residential address. Public schools, fire stations, farms and churches are also considered to be residential addresses. Deliveries are only made weekdays, generally between 8 AM and 5 PM.
Thr Gray States on our Shipping Map are quoted on a case by case basis regardless of the address due to the lack of service available as well as the transport costs for delivery to these areas.
Shipping to addresses within the Five Boroughs of New York, Long Island, Martha‘s Vineyard, Nantucket and Northern New England as well as other restricted or limited access areas may incur an up charge regardless of the address. This is due to the transportation surcharges or transport costs for delivery to these areas. This up charge is handled by special quotation only.
Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, or Mexico is NOT available.

| Inspecting Your Delivery: |
| |
| Gas Logs Direct hopes that you enjoy our customer service, that your order arrives safely, and that you will be satisfied with your order. However, please remember that when your order arrives, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to ensure that the product has not been damaged during shipping. Please keep the following in mind: |
| |
Chain of Financial Responsibility
Gas Logs Direct » Shipping/Freight Company » You
Gas Logs Direct inspects your purchase before it leaves our warehouses. We do not ship damaged or defective products. Once your package(s) leaves our hands, the delivery company (ie: Fed Ex, SAIA, etc.) assumes ALL responsibility for the safe delivery of your order. Once you sign for the delivery, you have released the delivery company from any and all responsibility for damage done during shipping of your order. So, when your order arrives, you should inspect ALL package(s) for signs of damage during shipment.
PLEASE take the time to inspect your delivery. IF there is any damage be sure to note it on the delivery ticket. If the damage is severe or excessive, please refuse the shipment and call us immediately at: (800) 343-6780 or (877) 342-6780

To help you, we provide the following procedures for inspection and contacting us:
For items shipped via motor freight carrier services: Inspect the package(s) for external damage, remove the packaging and inspect the contents for any physical damage in the presence of the delivery driver. If there is any damage, visible or not, you must indicate such on the delivery receipt. When you sign the delivery ticket and do not note any damage, the merchandise becomes your property. There are absolutely NO exceptions to this procedure. Unfortunately, all freight carriers are adamant about this and will not accept a claim for damage if you do not note any and all damage on the delivery receipt IN WRITING. |
| |
| For log sets and smaller items shipped via Fed Ex Ground package service: |
| |
| If there is any damage, visible or not, you have 3 days to contact Gas Logs Direct to report the damage. If you do not contact Gas Logs Direct within 3 days, the merchandise becomes your property. |
